AIM started in 2009 and provides Interim Management and Consultancy services only in Supply Chain to the Pharma, Life Science Industry and, to a smaller extent, the Chemical Industry.
With our experienced staff, long track record and quick services, we can be at service for customers within the international Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life science & Chemical industries.
We have a 3 person Management Team which closely collaborates with our core team of Associates. Our organization is simple and lean and we have some 50 Supply Chain professionals with whom we work constantly. They worked in your industry for at least 5- 10 years and managed multiple Supply Chain operations. We know from experience what it takes to build a robust Supply Chain and which challenges will be faced.

Angelique van der Burgt

Graduated a Tilburg business economist with a specialization in Logistics, Angelique brings some 15 years of hands-on supply chain expertise, gained mainly in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. Her experience lies with product launches, supply chain optimization and logistics outsourcing (feasibility studies, RFQ, Contract, SLA) in Europe, Latin America, Russia and the Middle East. Angelique is a resolute project manager with great communication skills and a keen interest in organizational cultures and structures. She is action-oriented and energetic and likes to initiate and support change. Angelique particularly enjoys managing international, cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams.

Ronald van Zitteren

Ronald has a BSc in commercial economics and worked about half of his career in chemicals and the other half in biopharma. He has held sr. management positions in 4 global companies. His experiences have been in sales/marketing and change management and continuous improvement but is dominated by 20+ years in supply chain where he covered all typical functional areas of end-2-end supply chains in Lifesciences. Ronald is a holistic thinker, understands what it takes to build or to change to get to a supply chain that can create the difference and meet the expectations of business partners and customers.

Jürgen is a Pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and he holds an MBA from London Business School. He has broad experience in the pharmaceutical industry where he started in formulation development and manufacturing process support. Later he moved to the commercial side into project management, marketing & sales and CRM & business analytics. This experience qualified him to set up commercial pan-European business units ranging from sales & marketing, tender management, customer service, business analytics and distributor management. He also was responsible for the implementation of the distal supply chain of a small European pharmaceutical company. Since joining AIM Juergen developed supply chain strategies for several US- and EU-based biotech and pharma companies and helps these companies to implement such strategy. His strength is to look beyond the pure logistics related processes and he can help to integrate Supply Chains into commercial operations to the benefit of patients and customers served.

Experienced supply chain professional with over 20 years of experience in Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management in various industries (Pharma, Medical Devices, Electronics and FMCG). Gained extensive knowledge in setting up and optimizing international distribution networks in the life science industry, cold chain distribution, controlled drugs distribution, Early Access Program distribution, GDP compliance, supply chain planning processes (incl. S&OP), etc. Ability to lead cross-functional project teams in challenging environments: start-ups, re-organizations and transformational change. A self-starter who always delivers results.

Joop started his career as IT consultant, specializing in supply chain solutions. He then switched to the business side and held a number of management positions of increasing scope and responsibility at a pharmaceutical multinational. He has extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex supply chains and related business processes in a global setting.
Joop is a conceptually strong team player and builder with a pragmatic, process-oriented approach. His specific expertise includes supply chain planning, application and governance of IT, distribution set-up and optimization, launch preparation, contracting and management of partners, and pre/post merger management. He has an MBA in European business and an MSc in business and information technology.
